RIP: Alexander McQueen

I had a few reservations about doing this post because honestly, and from the bottom of my heart, I cannot fathom why someone would go and take their own life. I know everyone walks a different path and life can be unbearably stressful at times but.... to commit suicide?? Such an unnecessary cop-out, in my humble opinion, of course.

Having said that, I cannot deny the design genius of the late, Alexander McQueen. I will not sit here and speculate on what he went through in his life because I was not in his shoes.... I will, however, post up some of his dope designs.

I always give credit where it's due!
Ms. MusiQ... I wonder how my girl Lady Gaga is holding up?! :(

Grammy 2010 Wrap-up: Fashion

*The Good, the Bad and the Ugly*

First of all... Are you guys seeing this? This dress absolutely made my life!! Pass it over Bey! *DROOL*

John Legend and his beautiful lady Christine.

Celine Dion looked very nice!

No bueno Ricky!

MJB was embarrassing some of the younger ladies in this fab dress!

SMDH! Ciara, you tied for absolute worst dressed of the night. The BOOs continue!

Hot look for Jennifer!

Meh....

This one did nothing for me.

A sloppy, greasy MESS!

Nice look for Mrs. Lopez.

I'd wear this on a date, not the Grammys. Did anyone else hate her make-up??

Loved the blue on you Fergie, but I'm still on the fence about that shimmery thing.

Pink, you make the dress look so OFF standing like that! Respect the garment PLEASE! :@

Carrie Underwood looked really good in this flowy dress.

Access Hollywood must have been really hard up for ratings to have this guy co-host with them. Not only was his suit NOT steamed/pressed, but he had THE GALL to repeatedly unbutton his shirt?? *expletive expletive expletive*

Boring. Would've worked if she had a pop of colour....

Ugh..... *Tapping out*

Rihanna ate EVERYBODY'S food with this one!! Hair (which I'm not even a fan of), accessories, make-up and dress were PERFECT!!

You tied with Ciara for worst dress Britney. BOOOOOOOOO!!

Ohh Gaga.... How I love thee! She bought IT!! High fashion DRAMA... Thank you Giorgio Armani!

Katy Perry let me down with this one.

AT first glance, I like this dress but, the more I looked at it, the more it turned me off. Beyonce, you've looked 1000x hotter than this. PS, I really hate how light your hair is right now.

A lovely dress that could've only worked on someone as tall as Taylor Swift.

Heidi... I'm on the fence.

I think she forgot what award show she was going to.... *BASIC*

I really liked this dress but I feel like I've seen it a million times!
What were your thoughts on the red carpet fashion?

Grammy 2010 Wrap-Up: Performances

I can admit this... I'm not happy that both Melanie Fiona and Drake lucked out in both of their categories but, to be nominated at the Grammys is just as BIG an honor as winning the actual award. I'm so happy that Drake had the opportunity to perform..... but, & let's be real, the performance was crap!! Poor ting was bleeped throughout the entire performance. *Tsk tsk*

Here are some of the performances:

Drake, Lil Wayne, Travis Barker & Eminem - "Drop The World" & "Forever"

[I couldn't hear you Drake... SMH]

Jamie Foxx, T-Pain, Doug E. Fresh & Slash - "Blame It"

[I started off laughing from the opera opening... & then it just got awkward.]

Beyonce - "If I Were A Boy/You Outta Know"

[Wasn't impressed.]

Smokey Robinson, Jennifer Hudson, Celine Dion, Carrie Underwood & Usher - "Earth Song" [Michael Jackson 3D Tribute]

[Ugh... Why must Usher continue to be so damn extra?!]
